From scratch: a brand and logo
Overview
In 2004, banking, financial services consulting and banker education company, Phillips Group, approached Slipher Marketing to create from scratch a completely original brand name and logo that would break Phillips Group's identity away from the expected and traditional naming scheme under which it existed - one that would also be readily available and memorable as a domain.
Objective
Produce and create an original and memorable company name, logo and identity for a banking and financial services consulting firm that still comfortably fits the personality of such a firm.
Result
Based on original thinking and on anecdotal stories from Phillips Group founder, R. Jay Phillips, Slipher Marketing created the completely original brand name and logo for Cerfis Group. The name continues to be a subject of anecdotes and customer questions, lending further to its memorable and unique quality. Cerfis Group can be found at cerfis.com.
