Overview

How do you create a brand extension of a brand that is still trying to establish awareness? That's just the challenge that was presented to Slipher Marketing by longtime client Soils Alive. In 2009, Soils Alive introduced a new service offering -- irrigation management. It was important to keep the new brand extension within the Soils Alive family, while giving the new service offering its own identity.

Objective

Create a brand extension logo and identity that captures the nature of the new service offering while keeping it within the Soils Alive family of services.

Result

Shown above, the Soils Alive Irrigation Management logo is simple, straightforward and reflects the service extension without compromising the integrity and color scheme of the parent brand, Soils Alive. The new logo also does not ignore the fact, too, that Soils Alive is a growing small business, still expanding its level of market awareness.
